Happy New Year 2022

2021 has ended. I hope everyone’s fine, and 2022 will turn out to be a great year for everyone. The world sure could use some more good news to lift the mood amidst the lingering problems of the past few years, like COVID.

We saw the first snowflakes here today since 2020. I’m glad I don’t have to go out to work yet. My first lessons start on January 11th. The snow looks pretty, and the white landscape peaceful, but my dogs are enjoying this far more than I.

Meanwhile, I’m still sitting here, working on Synthesis. I’d normally be finished, but I’m currently waiting for the editorial annotations, so I can wrap it up. I don’t have an influence on that; a friend is doing me a favour by looking over it, and it will take however long it takes. That’s fine. It’s the last thing to work on. Everything else is prepared, and I plan to release the book at the end of the month.

In the meantime, I will start to work on Pendulum’s rewrite, which I will post here on a weekly schedule, every Saturday. I have a plan for this story and will add another point of view to it, which means the story will get a bit longer again, but that’s fine. It needs room to breathe, and it shall get it.

I will start this endeavour when Synthesis is out and online on Amazon, because that’s when I’ll pull Pendulum.

That’s it for today. I’ve not been posting a lot recently, but I figured I’d not fill this blog with things I’d find boring to read myself.
